About Us
Founded in 2014, Alpha Maths Tuition Centre supports post-primary students in Cork City in maths, Irish, business, chemistry, economics, and physics. Tuition is offered in-person. We offer individual and group classes to Junior & Senior cycle students. The teaching team has many years of experience of correcting state exams, teaching in secondary schools, and university.
Our Approach to Teaching
Variety of Subjects
We have experienced tutors and teachers for all levels of secondary school maths, Irish, business, economics, physics, and chemistry. We also have tutors for university level subjects such as economics, econometrics, finance etc. Please see a full list here.
Detailed Notes
We provide detailed notes to each student. These notes cover the key topics and contain examples and past exam questions. Examples are available here.
In Person Classes
We believe that the best learning takes place in person. Students have the opportunity to engage with tutors and ask questions. Tutors can give students feedback and detailed instruction.
Small Class Groups
Small groups of no more than 5 students ensures that tutors can give individualised instruction. Students also have the opportunity to ask questions of the tutor while still having the opportunity to learn from other students.
One to One Grinds
